Victor Davis Hanson: Democrats are ‘revolutionaries’ pushing radical agenda ‘even if it explodes’

Victor Davis Hanson, senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and author of “The Dying Citizen,” appeared Thursday night on “The Ingraham Angle,” where he spoke about what Democrats revealed in 2021 about themselves and their vision. of America’s future.

SEN. RICK SCOTT: SUBURBAN VOTERS REJECT DEMOCRATS’ RADICAL AGENDA

VICTOR DAVIS HANSON: They are the greatest revolutionaries we have seen in a generation.

Whether it’s filling the court or ending the filibuster or bringing in two more states or ending the Electoral College or the National Voting Act, or Hillary Clinton’s collusion – hiring a foreign national to smear a presidential opponent, opposing candidate – or what we’ve seen with FISA abuse.

So they are revolutionaries and they project their own pathologies onto others because they have no alternative agenda.

They never say to themselves: “Here is a contract for America”. It’s going to work. And everyone in the Democratic Party who thinks this won’t last very long or they’re going to retire.

It is therefore a revolutionary Jacobin movement. I think everyone saw that in 2021 and I think they’re rightly worried that it will continue in 2022 – even if it blows up and takes us with it. But they won’t change on their own.
