The trailer for the highly anticipated Vicky Kaushal Sardar Udham film was unveiled today. The creators paid special tribute to one of the greatest martyrs in Indian history, Sardar Udham Singh, at a press conference in Mumbai. Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, and directed by Shoojit Sircar, this highly anticipated film also stars Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Banita Sandhu and Kirsty Averton in key roles and Amol Parashar in a special appearance. Sardar Udham will broadcast this Dussehra from October 16.
The trailer gives a glimpse into the life of Sardar Udham Singh, played by Vicky Kaushal in a never-before-seen avatar. This story showcases the eternal bravery, courage and fearlessness of an unsung hero, drawn from the deep-buried annals of our history. The film focuses on Sardar Udham Singh’s undeterred mission to avenge the lives of his beloved brothers, who were ruthlessly murdered in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919.
