SDNY COURTHOUSE, Feb. 21 – Anna Pelczarska has sued Arhaus LLC for failing to pay her COBRA insurance. But now a question about additional federal jurisdiction exists.
On February 18, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, held a hearing. Inner City Press has it covered.
Judge Hellerstein investigated Florida law and additional federal jurisdiction. He has established an information calendar on this issue, and on this issue only. It runs until April 1.
The case is Pelczarska v. Arhaus, LLC, 21-cv-7735 (Hellerstein)
