In illegally occupied Indian Jammu and Kashmir, the Hurriyat All-Parties Conference expressed grave concern over the rise of state terrorism unleashed by the fascist Indian government led by Narendra Modi across the territory to suppress the just struggle of the Kashmiris to guarantee their right to self-determination.

The APHC spokesperson in a statement issued in Srinagar said the freedom-loving people of Kashmir are well aware of their destination and the sacrifices required for the fulfillment of the sacred mission of freedom.

He denounces the incessant increase in false fights by Indian troops across the occupied territory. He said the killing of a dozen young people in fake encounters in Srinagar, Badgam, Shopian and Kul-gam over the past few days after taking them into custody is the worst example of brutal Indian imperialism.

APHC spokesman blasted India’s brutality on the innocent people of the IIOJK for claiming their right to self-determination and said oppressed Kashmiris were left at the mercy of more than one million occupation soldiers. “In this grim situation where Kashmir is bleeding, the brave people of Kashmir are daring the worst military deployment and enduring the enormous trials to lead the current resistance movement to its logical conclusion,” he added.

Spokesman urged United Nations Secretary-General to take cognizance of Indian state terrorism in which the IIOJK people are subjected to widespread killings, physical violence, unlawful detentions and deprivation of their basic rights . He called for an early settlement of the long-standing dispute in Kashmir in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions to ensure permanent peace in South Asia.

Meanwhile, APHC chief Maulana Sibte Shab-bir Qummi, in a statement in Srinagar, paid rich tributes to the youth of Kashmir who were martyred by Indian troops during this week. He said the Modi government had given its armed forces a license to commit atrocities and killings at IIOJK, but international human rights organizations were watching all this in silent spectators.

Maulana Sibte Shabbir expressed outrage over Kashmiri land granting to non-Kashmiri investors and said it was a deep New Delhi plot to change demographics and erase majority Muslim identity of the IIOJK. He also reacted strongly to the plans of the United Arab Emirates to carry out various projects in the disputed territory. — KMS
