6 India’s Martyrdom of Kashmiris Worst State Terrorism: AJK President
MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has called the martyrdom of six young people by the Indian military in the past 72 hours in occupied Jammu and Kashmir as the worst terrorism of State.
Reacting to the latest incidents of murder of three young people by the Indian army in the Pulwama district of illegally occupied Indian Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), he said the systematic targeting of young people in Kashmir was part of a nefarious design to silence the powerful voices of freedom and the right to self-determination.
“This is the worst example of oppression and barbarism that should be taken seriously by the international community and international human rights organizations,” Khan said. He said that under a well-thought-out plan, the Indian army was targeting young people under various pretexts, which raised their voices for freedom and the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people.
The President of the State said that after August 2019, the Indian government not only deprived the Kashmiris of many of their basic rights by abolishing the
special status of Kashmir, but also committed crimes against humanity and war crimes.
Citing a recent report from the Kashmir Media Service, President Masood Khan said that in the past two years, since August 2019, the Indian military has shot 410 youths and killed and arrested 2,300 youth under black laws in 1 200 different cases.
